The development of new, cheaper, and more effective technologies to decrease the amount wastewater containing heavy metals improve quality is indispensable. Adsorption has become one alternative treatment methods. A small number studies focusing on batch technique for nickel ion removal by new generation exchangers are described in literature. In this paper, Ni(II) from aqueous solutions using exchange resins different types was investigated. experiments were conducted at HCl HCl/HNO3 concentrations, initial concentration 100 mg Ni(II)/L. investigation desorption chosen carried out. efficiency rate shown kinetic curves constants as well parameters collected compared. isotherm calculated Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy with attenuated total reflection spectra performed determine nature adsorption. experimental results showed that percentage high Lewatit MonoPlus TP220 could be an nickel(II) wastewaters.
